Speculative Design Seoul (SDS) is a group formed around the design philosophy of Céline Park 

to promote the concept of speculative design in Korea starting in 2021. SDS presents future 

scenarios, critically examines current social issues, and proposes topics of conversation to discuss

them with a new perspective. In addition to its activities, SDS has been hosting annual workshops to nurture designers. 

This year, SDS will conduct a workshop titled Jeju Haenyeo Project, scheduled for the summer. 

This project is planned to take place every summer, exploring themes related to the unique 

cultural and environmental narratives of Jeju’s female divers.

Speculative Design Seoul (SDS)는 2021년부터 한국에서 셀린박 스페큘레이티브 디자이너의 디자인 철학을 중심으로 

사변적 디자인(Speculative Design)의 개념을 알리고자 형성된 그룹이다. SDS는 미래 시나리오를 제시하고, 

현재 사회적 이슈를 비판적으로 고찰하며, 이를 새로운 시각에서 논의할 수 있는 대화의 주제를 제안한다.

SDS는 매년 워크숍을 개최하여 디자이너를 양성해 왔다. 

스페큘러티브 디자인 서울과 함께 사회적 메세지를 디자인으로 융화시키고자 하는 파트너를 모집합니다.

SDS는 2022–2025년 《Future Food》, 《Instant Detection》, 《Speculative World Building》, 《Jeju Haenyeo: Disappearing Worlds》 등을 통해 한국에서 스페큘레이티브 디자인 기반을 만들어왔습니다.
